Ambulance Services
Interfacility Transport (IFT)
When a patient requires transport from one health care institution to another health care institution, MMT is ready to respond.
Examples of IFT transport include:
• Bed Capacity Transfer
• Discharge Transport
• Higher Level of Care Transfer
• Emergency Department Transfer
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Our BLS crews are teams of skilled Emergency Medical Technicians. EMTs possess the skills necessary to stabilize and safely transport patients ranging from non-emergency and routine medical transports to life threatening emergencies. Some of their skills include basic airway management, first aid and orthopedic care, advanced aid to injuries, and oxygen therapy. MMT’s BLS teams provide quality care to each patient, ensuring their well-being and comfort.
Advanced Life Support (ALS)
Our ALS crews are teams of highly trained paramedics that provide advanced medical care to the patients during transport. Paramedics are licensed individuals who perform tasks beyond that of an EMT. MMT’s ALS teams bring this medical expertise to each ambulance trip, providing reliable, dedicated care.
Examples of ALS Transport include:
• Cardiac Monitoring
• SPO2 Monitoring
• IV Medications
• ACLS Interventions
Critical Care Transport (CCT)
CCT is the interfacility transportation of a critically injured or ill patient to a specialty area, such as emergency or critical care nursing, emergency medicine, respiratory care, or cardiovascular care. MMT Critical Care Transport Teams are highly skilled and undergo rigorous training and are capable of transporting patients requiring:
• High Flow Nasal Oxygen Therapy (Optiflow or Vapotherm)
• Invasive Monitoring (Swan-Ganz, arterial, central venous and intracranial pressure)
• Ventilator Transport
• Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO)
• Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump (IABP)
• Impella Transport
• High-risk OB
